HEATHER & KYRA
In the soft morning light of the Fort Worth Botanic Garden, Heather orchestrated a beautiful plan and created a sweet and unforgettable moment for Kyra. With a friend’s help, Heather carefully crafted a dreamy picnic spread full of personal touches that reflected Kiera’s love for vintage style. After helping set up the final details, I carefully hid behind some misty bushes to not ruin the surprise.
I positioned my camera and lens between branches and leaves, and excitement bubbled within me. I can't even imagine what Heather felt at the same time! Kyra had proposed to Heather a few weeks earlier, and now it was Heather's turn to create the perfect proposal moment.
When the couple arrived at the garden, Kyra was thrilled about the picnic setup, and the biggest surprise was yet to come!
After a few minutes of enjoying the yummy spread, Heather invited Kyra to stand up. Moments later, Heather dropped to one knee and asked the big question. The moment was electric! After Kyra said yes, I emerged from behind a tree. Kyra was extra surprised!
After the sweet moment, we wandered through the garden, enjoying the couple's happiness against a backdrop of vibrant blooms and lush greenery of the Lower Rose Garden. After all that walking, Heather and Kyra enjoyed a well-earned sweet treat to close out an unforgettable morning!

Here are Heather's kind words after the proposal:
Elizabeth was amazing! She captured my proposal to my fiance perfectly and was so knowledgeable and kind. She took so much stress off the engagement! I can't recommend her highly enough. Thanks so much!
I believe every love story deserves to be told, and I am dedicated to creating a comfortable, inclusive space for all couples. Love is beautifully diverse, and it’s a privilege to document those genuine moments that reflect each couple's journey.
Kiera and Heather's joy was contagious! This experience was a celebration of their love and commitment, and I couldn't be more honored to capture it. Thank you for allowing me to be there with you!
