Matt & Courtney

When Matt decided to propose to Courtney, he knew it had to be special—and boy, was it! As a couple who had just moved to Fort Worth, what better way to start this exciting new chapter than with a rooftop proposal at The Sinclair Hotel? It was the perfect spot to ask THE question, overlooking downtown Fort Worth with their new apartment building in the distance.

Matt went all out. He designed a custom ring, which a family friend and jeweler later made. He also had both families flown in from across the country to surprise Courtney. She had no idea they were coming and was completely taken off guard as her loved ones emerged from the hiding spots I had carefully tucked them away in. Her reaction? Priceless.

After the proposal and some family portraits, the newly engaged pair and I headed to Sundance Square for a quick engagement session. The giant disco ball cowboy hat and the iconic Fort Worth Courthouse made for a fun, vibrant backdrop as the sun set, adding an intimate vibe to the photos.

Courtney’s energy was contagious, and her joy radiated through every shot. This proposal wasn’t just a milestone in their relationship—it was a perfect way to make a lasting connection with their new hometown. It’s a memory that will always hold a special place in their hearts as they settle into Fort Worth.
