Mr. & Mrs Banerji

When Lauren and Pranoy began planning their wedding, they wanted a celebration that honored both their American and Indian cultures. Their wedding day delivered on that vision in every way, set against two of Fort Worth’s most stunning venues—the Fort Worth Botanic Garden and Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth.

When Lauren and Pranoy began planning their wedding, they wanted a celebration that honored both their American and Indian cultures. Their wedding day delivered on that vision in every way. The celebration was set against two of Fort Worth’s most stunning venues—the Fort Worth Botanic Garden and the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth.

Their day started at The Crescent Hotel, where they dressed in stunning American wedding attire. At the hotel, I photographed their amazing details that included heirloom pieces like a small Bible from Lauren's baptism, which held a special note waiting for her wedding day. The bride's mom was so excited to share it, making the moment incredibly personal for the soon-to-be newlyweds.

After some portraits at the hotel, we made our way to the garden where the ceremony and a pre-ceremony first look would take place. The couple shared a sweet, intimate first look in their American outfits. Pranoy's reaction to seeing Lauren for the first time was priceless. After those special moments, the couple changed into their traditional Indian attire, with close friends helping them with the intricate pieces. Excitement filled the air as the ceremony approached.

The ceremony beautifully blended family and culture. Lauren and Pranoy walked hand-in-hand down the aisle, and though Pranoy’s parents couldn’t attend in person, they were there via web call, making the moment feel deeply intimate despite the distance. Lauren’s vibrant wine-red saree and Pranoy’s pristine cream and gold sherwani added rich pops of color against the lush greenery of the garden.

After the ceremony, sunset portraits were a must! The lighting was perfect—vibrant and full of warmth, a dream for any photographer. Before leaving the garden, Lauren's parents surprised the couple with a vintage Bentley to take them to the Modern Art Museum reception in style.

As the sun set at the Modern Art Museum, the celebration really kicked off. Wolfgang Puck catered the event, blending flavors from both cultures into a culinary experience that everyone raved about. The beautifully crafted cocktails and the DJ’s mix of Western and Indian beats had guests dancing all night. The day was a perfect fusion of two worlds, much like Lauren and Pranoy themselves.

With so much joy and energy packed into one day, we knew we needed more time to capture it all. That’s why we scheduled a second round of portraits at the Modern Art Museum a few days after the wedding. Stay tuned for those gems!
