Andi & Jack

You've heard me say this before - one of my favorite places to photograph couples is the Fort Worth Botanic Garden! The landscapes there are especially beautiful in the Fall and Winter, bursting with warm and vibrant colors.

Today's blog features a pair of lovebirds set to say "I do" in the spring.

The couple, surgeons by trade, and I immediately bonded over our love for medical humor (as I, too, work in the healthcare industry when I'm not taking photos) and the scenery around us. It's always a pleasure when the personal connection between my clients and me goes beyond the lens!

Please enjoy their beautiful engagement session gallery, and stay tuned at the end for some tips if you're thinking about having your engagement photo session at this enchanting Texas jewel!

Ok! So you're thinking about having your engagement session at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden? Here are some things to know:

  1. You'll Need a Photography Pass: The Fort Worth Botanic Garden requires the couple to purchase a photo pass. The fee is $75 for two hours and it covers admission for up to the couple and the photographer, as well as a change of wardrobe. The last photography pass is sold two hours before closing. Closing times vary from season to season.
  2. Beautiful Backdrops: The Fort Worth Botanic Garden offers a variety of landscapes, from meticulously manicured lawns to wildflower-filled meadows and, my favorite, the Japanese Garden.
  3. Seasonal Splendor: Fall brings a special charm to the gardens, with the changing leaves adding warmth and richness to the surroundings. If you're considering a spring session, other areas of the garden provide a variety of beautiful flowers.
  4. Time of Day: I recommend purchasing the photo pass for the latest available time slot available. After 3 is ideal, it will be less warm and the sun will be less intense!

If you want to go for a stroll at the magical Fort Worth spot, I'd love to be your photographer! Contact me and I'll take care if you!

Andi and Jack,

Thanks for letting me come along on your wedding journey. I can't wait to celebrate your wedding!
